Your supplier price files become catalogues you search. You pick the items you actually use and they go into one live price list. Every estimate is priced from that list, and a price you set yourself stays set when the supplier files change.

Supplier price files are useful, but they are huge, and every supplier formats them differently. The Price Book keeps them as reference and prices your estimates from a short list you control.
Point it at each supplier's CSV and match up the columns once. Files are read where they sit. When two files list the same itemcode, the file you rank higher wins.
One click reads the itemcodes on your components and finds each one in your supplier files. You review the list before anything is added. Codes it can't find are listed so you can price them yourself.
Search every supplier file at once, for example "roof sheet 0.42". Tick the items you use and add them to the live list.
Type a price and it is held. When you load new supplier files, held prices are listed for you to look at and are never overwritten.
New price file from a supplier? Check it against your book: every change is shown old against new, big jumps are flagged, and you apply the ones you accept.
The Build table, Live Cost and every PDF take their prices from the book. Items that aren't in the book keep their component price, and pack rules keep their pack prices.
Colour variants are covered too: one colour-coded item in the book prices every colour of that item. Export the whole book to CSV whenever you like.
